Castilleja bounced back from a league upset on Thursday to defeat host Carlmont, 17-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23 in a big nonleague match on Friday in Belmont. The Gators (16-10) took down the tough Scots (15-7) as senior Hannah Boland put away 15 kills with seven blocks, junior Lucy Tashman added 11 kills and four blocks, and junior Hannah Hsieh dished out 33 assists and finished with 10 digs as a possible farewell present for Castilleja coach Tracie Meskell, who is due to give birth to her first child on Saturday. posted by Palo Alto Online on Oct 14, 2011 at 9:45 pm
