Sacred Heart Prep grabbed sole possession of first place in the West Bay Athletic League (Foothill Division) girls' volleyball race with a 25-15, 25-14, 21-25, 25-13 victory over host Castilleja on Thursday evening. SHP improved to 4-0 in league (14-4 overall) while Castilleja fell to 3-1 (15-9).

Hellman has moved into the starting lineup following a season-ending injury to junior Sonia Abuel-Saud, who suffered an ACL injury in a nonleague win over Notre Dame-Belmont on Sept. 21.
For Castilleja, junior Lucy Tashman had 13 kills and 15 digs as she continued to contribute in a big way for the Gators. Junior setter Hannah Hsieh produced 27 assists while senior Hannah Boland added 11 kills and five blocks.
