In a battle between coaching sisters, Castilleja's Tracie (Hubbard) Meskell got the best of her younger sister, Atlee Hubbard, as Castilleja opened its West Bay Athletic League (Foothill Division) girls' volleyball season with a 12-25, 25-13, 25-18, 17-25, 15-13 victory over visiting Menlo School (0-1, 14-5) on Tuesday night. The Gators (1-0, 13-8) got a big effort from senior Hannah Boland, who led the big win with 17 kills and four aces.
