2017 Palo Alto Weekly Short Story Contest

The 31st Annual Palo Alto Weekly Short Story Contest is now accepting entries for Adult, Young Adult (15-17) and Teen (12-14) categories. Send us your short story (2,500 words or less) and entry form by April 13, 2017. First, Second and Third Place prizes awarded in each category.

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

Support local kids in need by making a donation to the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund. Your gift will be matched by local foundations and because the Palo Alto Weekly and Silicon Valley Community Foundation cover all administrative costs, all money raised goes directly to nonprofits serving kids and families in the Palo Alto and East Palo Alto area.

Palo Alto Weekly Moonlight Run & Walk

The 2016 Moonlight Run and walk will take place Friday evening, September 16, 2016 in the Palo Alto Baylands. 5k walk begins at 7 p.m., followed by 10k run at 8:15 and 5k run at 8:45.

Registration is now open for the 32nd annual family-friendly event benefiting non-profits serving kids in the Palo Alto area.
