OAKS PERFECT . . . The Palo Alto Oaks will take a 14-0 record into this weekend's Western Baseball Association doubleheader at Baylands Athletic Center before heading to Sacramento the following week for the West Region tournament. The Oaks will face a field that includes representatives from the Sacramento Rural League, Southern California and the Western Baseball Association. Tournament play begins July 26. Palo Alto kept its perfect season alive with a doublheader sweep of Fontanetti's 'B' team on Sunday at Baylands. In Game 1, the Oaks used the mercy rule and won 11-1 in seven innings as Brian Fleischli went 4-for-4 with a triple, double, and two singles. The second game was much closer with the Oaks prevailing, 6-4. Starter CJ Hillyer tossed the first four and gave up one run while striking out 10. The Oaks will host the Fontanetti's 'A' team on Sunday, starting at 11:30 a.m.
