COLLEGE HONORS . . . Princeton's Tim Wenzlau and Ben Dearborn have been honored by Collegiate Water Polo Association's Southern Division for their performances last weekend in Princeton's three wins over 15th-ranked Bucknell, Johns Hopkins and 17th-ranked Navy. Wenzlau earned his second career Player of the Week honor and Dearborn was recognized as the Defensive Player of the Week. A graduate of Palo Alto High, Wenzlau netted 10 goals on 18 shots during the three games. Wenzlau also received Southern Player of the Week honors last September. Dearborn, a graduate of Sacred Heart Prep, made 32 saves in Princeton's three wins. He also added two steals and finished the three games with a .653 save percentage. Dearborn recorded 14 saves in the win at Bucknell and followed that up with a career-high 18 saves in an overtime win over Navy. Five of the saves came in overtime as he made two stops at the buzzer to preserve the Princeton win . . . Menlo College juniors Alex Vukic and Alex Palomarez were honored by the Cal Pac Conference for men's soccer it was learned Tuesday. Vukic, a Sacred Heart Prep product, had seven shots and two goals as the Oaks won twice last week to move into sole possession of first place. He was named the conference Offensive Player of the Week. Palomerez recorded 15 saves last week and was named Defensive Player of the Week.
