SOLAR COOKING ... Don Larson, assistant manager at Common Ground, will teach a class on "Solar Cooking" on Saturday, June 11, from noon to 2 p.m. at Common Ground, 559 College Ave., Palo Alto. Larson, who uses a solar water distiller and solar drier and generates electricity using a 2KW solar photovoltaic array, will share his expertise and offer a hands-on demonstration of using the "Global Sun Oven" and "Solar Cookit."
