Canopy is hosting a California Arbor Week Festival and tree planting at Eleanor Pardee Park, 851 Center Drive, Palo Alto, on Saturday, March 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Featured events include a ceremonial planting at 9:30 a.m., tree-planting demonstration at 10 a.m., kid-friendly tree walks at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and a competitive tree-climbing demonstration (tentative) at 11 a.m. An "Ask the Arborist" booth will be available all day.
