OPEN QUALIFIER . . . Stanford freshman Mariah Stackhouse earned a spot in the U.S. Women's Open on Tuesday afternoon after shooting a 36-hole score of 5-under 139 to lead the qualifying tournament on the Eisenhower Course hosted by the Industry Hills Golf Club. Stackhouse was the low medalist in one of 20 qualifying tourneys conducted by the U.S. Golf Association. Those who qualify will compete at the U.S. Women's Open, to be played on the Sebonack Golf Course in Southampton, N.Y., on June 27-30.
