Jazz for the ages

Stanford Jazz marks its 40th-anniversary season

In its 40th year, the Stanford Jazz Workshop keeps spanning the decades. The coming festival season, announced this week, includes artists old and new: from tributes to Satchmo and Sinatra to a concert by the new quartet Vertical Voices Live.

Don't miss Taylor Eigsti, who blew audiences away at Filoli when he was sixteen, and Dina DeRose, who delivers songs like nobody else.
