CARDINAL CORNER . . . The Pac-12 Conference will remain at a dozen teams as the league's presidents and chancellors voted to reaffirm their decision to stand pat. Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech were among those considering a potential move from the Big 12. After expanding from the Pac-10 with new members Utah and Colorado last year, members of the new Pac-12 won't give them the chance. The league already negotiated a landmark 12-year television contract with Fox and ESPN worth about $3 billion. And it appears plenty happy at a dozen . . . Stanford's Sally Watson captured the individual title and Stanford shot a final round 292 on Tuesday to finish second at the Cougar Cup hosted by Washington State. Watson rebounded from an opening-round 79 with rounds of 71 and 70 to win the tournament. She birdied four of the last 12 holes, sinking a 40-foot putt on her final hole to clinch the victory. Her 220 tied the second-lowest total in tournament history.
