High School Athletes of the Week

Palo Alto High

The junior setter had 31 assists in a league win over Saratoga before adding 86 assists, 13 digs, 12 kills, 8 blocks and 6 aces as the Vikings (32-1) went 5-0 and captured the championship of the Milpitas Spikefest II.

Palo Alto High

The senior captain helped the Vikings go 5-0 in water polo, scoring nine goals in 12-9 and 10-5 league wins as the Vikings clinched third place, and adding seven more in a 3-0 finish at the Mustang Oktoberfest tourney.
