About Julia Benton

Benton said when she and her family were in San Francisco on this rainy day, the palm trees looked like umbrellas. The angles and lines of the structure, she added, are what make the picture look interesting.

Benton, who likes to run track and figure skate, picked up photography last summer while traveling in Spain. She has continued the hobby by taking a photography class at Palo Alto High School.
