Anne
MacKenzie was having fun playing with reality when she was working
on her jolly entry.
She initially captured the photo, "then felt there
was little to tie the windows together." She manipulated
the image using a photo editing program. She hopes viewers will
be able to "enjoy the playfulness" of the image. She
describes the creation as "a flight of imagination." The
only thing she doesn't like about the picture is that "it
isn't really what I would consider fine art photography."
MacKenzie has been taking photos for five years, and is an active
member of the
Palo Alto Camera Club. She admits that her photography "seems all-consuming
lately," but expects to "continue to learn more about it and enjoy
exploring photographic concepts." She spends the rest of her time reading
and going to films and concerts.
