By Randy Lutge
About Randy Lutge
For
Randy Lutge, "taking the right picture and combining it with
the right manipulation you can come up with something better than
the original." In this case he produced his painterly image
with the Photoshop filter "alien skin swirl."

The photograph was taken in Burgundy, France, of a worker in
a field of vines. Lutge works in the wine industry, and has taken
many pictures related to winemaking, including one that was shown
in the Vopal Gallery in San Francisco.
Lutge got his start with digital imaging over 15 years ago. He
manipulated images while scanning them, moving them to create
different effects. Since then, digital photography has become
a large part of his life. As a professional photographer he works
exclusively with a digital camera.
