Palo Alto's "Creek Watch"

Beginning today (Friday) at 4 p.m. through noon on Sunday, Palo Alto will begin "Creek Watch" updates every two hours on Radio Station KZSU 90.1 FM, and KCBS 740 AM. It is predicted that there may be 3 to 4 inches of rain with the next storm.

The City of Palo Alto urges residents to take the following precautions:

- Make sure you have a battery operated radio. Tune into KCBS and KZSU for "Creek Watch" updates.

- Park your cars off the street.

- Remove valuables from your basement.

- Extra caution should be taken by homeowners in the foothills to monitor theirs foundations.
