Talks in nurses' strike resume today

Mediated negotiations in the nurses' strike at Stanford were scheduled to resume at 2 p.m. today after going until 7:45 p.m. Monday.

Members of the union's negotiating team met separately with the federal mediator this morning. There was no word if hospital negotiators also met separately with the mediator.

The strike is in its 14th day.
