Measure O wins and Measure M doesn't? The project, as approved by Palo Alto, gets built.

Measure M wins and Measure O loses? Stanford has made it clear that it will shelve the projects and will not work with Measure M. Measure M backers argue that Stanford has too much invested already and will want to build variations of the approved project.

Both Measure M and Measure O fail to get majority votes? Back to the drawing board for everyone.

Both Measure M and Measure O win majority votes? The Palo Alto City Council has determined that whichever measure gets the most votes wins.
