A Farewell to Co-op Palo Alto Weekly photographer Gladys Mondala captured
images from last Sunday (May 20, 2001) "The Last Hurrah",
a community potluck dinner at the Co-op Market. 
Mary Bay, wife of Duane Bay, Sr., Co-op board president, walks
through the empty store.
Co-op Market manager Jaqui Nyhammer, who spent 14 years as a
manager, reminices with Eric Redstrom, a Co-op employee for 30 years. 
Logan Vargas, 3, plays on top of an empty shelf.
The celebration also featured a live band.
Carrying stuff out of the Co-op marked the end of "The
Last Hurrah".
