JobTrain, a nonprofit agency in eastern Menlo Park, has won renewal of a contract to serve 100 meals a day, five days a week, to the Homeless Veterans Emergency Housing Facility, also in eastern Menlo Park.

JobTrain, formerly known as OICW, will continue a contract it established for the meals in 2004 and now runs through 2011.

JobTrain youths prepare the meals each afternoon, according to JobTrain development specialist Kate Bryan.

JobTrain employs at-risk youths in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park and enables them to earn high-school credits toward their graduation.
