Open space workshops to be held
|
| The future of La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve will be the subject of a community workshop at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at the La Honda Elementary School, 450 Sears Ranch Road, La Honda. A second workshop will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 6, also at La Honda Elementary School.
The workshops are the first step by the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District in developing a master plan for the 2,042-acre open space preserve. Visitor parking, trail access, preservation and links to regional trails will be among the topics discussed.
The La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve, located between Skyline Boulevard and San Gregorio Creek, was purchased by the open space district in 1985. — Don Kazak
