New law will restrict car sales on El Camino Real

???????????????? What about all the tickets that were already given out to the masses that the PAPD wrote for having their cars on El Camino that they had to pay the City for??????????? Are we all due for a REFUND for having them write the tickets??????

Have there actually been any accidents caused by the cars for sale on El Camino? I think there are a lot of much more important things the lawmakers and police should be spending their time on. This well-known used car "for sale" area seems to me to provide a useful community service (which I've used myself in years past) without harming anyone. Is there at least any other area that the city can suggest to fill a similar function?

Surely if the law is that there should be no selling of cars, it doesn't mean that cars can't be left there. The looking could still be done but the deal could be signed at the coffee house (Peet's) in Town & Country. What a windfall for them!!

As a citizen, I will be dutifully reporting any activity that appears to involve the sale or transfer ofo ownership of vehcles on El Camino. I hear the fines are substantial.

is there an overseer, Maybe you're someone who sold cars on El Camino - maybe not. Guess what? It's a dangerous thoroughfare to be conducting business on. Also, anyone using that lot to sell cars on a regular basis (and there were a number of those persons) were using PUBLIC PROPERTY to make their sales, thus disadvantaging bona fide car dealerrs who pay RENT and TAXES.

I'm happy to see the freeloaders gone, after years of watching their junk cars sold in front of my home. It will be a pleasure to report violators tothe police. My neighbors and I have already begun a special watch. bye...
