Power outage strikes northern Palo Alto
|
| Power was restored to northern Palo Alto just after 3 a.m. after an outage impacted the area Saturday night, according to a Palo Alto police dispatcher.
The dispatcher said the power loss occurred when a tree fell and hit a power pole.
At around 11:50 p.m. Saturday, the police department began receiving calls about the outage. People had been calling to report loss of power from Sand Hill Road to California Avenue, police reported. — Don Kazak
