Indira Gagloeva, 37, who died Tuesday when a truck struck the concrete median on Highway 101 in Redwood City, was a mother of three who had reportedly recently moved to Mountain View from Palo Alto.

Her daughter, Yana, 12, received minor injuries in the crash. Yana Gagloeva is a student at JLS Middle School in Palo Alto, one parent told the Weekly.

Indira Gagloeva received head injuries when a piece of concrete from the median came through the windshield of her northbound car. The truck had been in the southbound lanes when it crashed.

Gagloeva was air-lifted to Stanford Hospital but died Tuesday afternoon of her injuries.

Yana Gagloeva told the San Francisco Chronicle that she had been sleeping in the car as it headed to San Francisco to arrange a trip to her mother's native country of Georgia when the crash occurred.

The daughter said she crawled out of the driver's side window.

California Highway Patrol Office Eric Parsons said Wednesday that police are still interviewing witnesses to the crash to determine if there was any negligence on the part of the truck driver. Vehicular manslaughter is a possible charge in any highway fatality, he said.

Indira Gagloeva had worked as a real estate agent for Keller-Williams Realty in Palo Alto.
