Students protest 'sweatshop-made clothing'
|
Photos

| About 30 Stanford students staged a protest Thursday at the Stanford Bookstore over what the students claim are clothing items made in sweatshops.
The students are members of the Sweat-Free Stanford Coalition and would like the university to join the Workers Rights Consortium and the Designated Suppliers Program to call for "more stringent monitoring of factories" where college-branded clothing is made.
