Eshoo to hold hearing on mental health
|
| Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Palo Alto, will hold a field district hearing Wednesday morning in Redwood City on mental health issues.
Former Palo Alto Mayor Vic Ojakian is scheduled to be one of the people testifying on the effect of mental illness and substance abuse on families.
Eshoo will be joined at the hearing by Rep. Patrick Kennedy, D-R.I., and Jim Ramstad, R-Minn., who are making a nationwide tour to hear from people on mental health issues.
The hearing will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the County Government Center, 400 County Center, Redwood City. — Don Kazak
