 | The San Francisco Giants World Championship Trophy Tour, presented by Bank of America, will continue its three-month public tour and stop in East Palo Alto on Wednesday.
The trophies will be on display from 2-4 p.m. at the Costano Elementary School gym, located at 2695 Fordham St.
Fans will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with 2012 and 2010 Major League Baseball's Commissioner's Trophies, crafted by Tiffany & Co., and to support their local Junior Giants Baseball League by making a voluntary contribution during the trophy viewing.
The goal of the San Francisco World Championship Trophy Tour is to share Major League Baseball's Commissioner's trophies with Giants fans in Junior Giants communities throughout northern California.
Junior Giants is the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, which serves more than 20,000 boys and girls in 80 under-served communities throughout Northern and Central California and Southern Oregon. It is a free and non-competitive baseball program that has served as a model for MLB youth initiatives.
The Giants are asking for a suggested donation of $2 per attendee to help fund the Junior Giants Program.— Palo Alto Online Sports Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
