Music: 'Music Teachers' Scholarship Concert'
The music teachers of the Palo Alto Unified School District are holding their 21st annual chamber-music concert at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Palo Alto High School's Haymarket Theatre, 50 Embarcadero Road. Concert proceeds go toward scholarships for district music students. Tickets are $15 general and $5 for students and seniors. Go to events.pausd.org.

Dance: Flamenco at Menlo Hub
Local flamenco dancer and teacher Koko de la Isla will perform a flamenco show from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at the Menlo Hub restaurant and bar, 1029 El Camino Real, Menlo Park. Admission is free. De la Isla, who teaches in Mountain View and the South Bay, hails from Japan and has studied flamenco in Japan and Spain. Go to menlohub.com.

Music: Bay Choral Guild
"Pilgrimage," the Bay Choral Guild's spring concert series, will feature contemporary composer Gabriel Jackson's "To the Field of Stars," about the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. A local performance is planned for 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. California Ave., Palo Alto. Also on the program: music by Bach, Brahms and Josef Rheinberger. Tickets are $25 general, $20 for seniors and $5 for students. Go to baychoralguild.org.
