Stanford wraps up its dual-meet season with a Pac-12 Conference women's swimming and diving battle against Cal at noon on Saturday in Berkeley. The event will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks on tape delay.

The Cardinal (7-1) seeks its sixth straight dual- meet win since recording its lone loss on the season, 151.5-148.5, to No. 7 Texas on Nov. 3.

Stanford head coach Greg Meehan is no stranger to the Cal program, having spent five seasons as an assistant and associate head coach with the Golden Bears' men's program and helping steer Cal to a pair of men's national titles.

But don't expect Meehan's previous ties to the Cal program to cloud the Cardinal's goals for the meet.

"This meet will be no different than any other for me," Meehan said. "The team is going there to compete and win a swim meet. That's where our focus lies. It's not going to be any more emotional for me.

"We're going to use this meet to serve two purposes. One is to have a great, fun and competitive dual meet against a rival which we respect very much. It will also serve as a final opportunity to fine-tune the details heading into the championship season with the Pac-12 meet taking place in less than two weeks."

Meehan will face Cal coach Teri McKeever, the 2012 Olympic head coach. Her only senior is 2012 Olympic 200 IM bronze medalist Caitlin Leverenz.

With Bay Area bragging rights at stake, the Cardinal will be making its Pac-12 Networks debut at the Spieker Aquatics Complex.

"This will be our first opportunity to be on the Pac-12 Networks," Meehan said. "The feedback we've heard from other schools and fans in regard to the coverage has been very positive. We're very appreciative to have the Pac-12 become more visible on a regional and national level, and we're looking forward to having more swimming and diving events televised."

Second-ranked Stanford jumped six spots in the CSCAA Top 25 after downing No. 1 USC and No. 12 UCLA two weeks ago. Cal enters the meet ranked seventh nationally.

Felicia Lee was named the Counsilman Hunsaker National Division I Women's Swimmer of the Week after Stanford's sweep of the Los Angeles area schools. Lee set an Avery Aquatic Center record in the 100 back (52.99) against UCLA while also claiming wins in the 200 back and the 200 medley relay.

One day after downing the Bruins, Lee reset her 100 back record with a 52.90 against top-ranked USC. Should Lee go in the 100 back once again, she'll likely face one of two of Cal's top backstrokers -- like national leaders and defending NCAA champ Cindy Tran and Rachel Bootsma, an 2012 Olympic gold medalist.

Lee also won the 100 fly (52.23) and was part of a pair of winning relays. Lee posted a 53.17 split in the fly leg of the 400 medley relay to help set a pool record in 3:36.22 and went 22.66 in her portion of the 200 free relay.

The Stanford-Cal showdown will reunite former club teammates Maddy Schaefer of Stanford and Rachael Acker of Cal. The two have been clubmates at Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics and former rivals while Schaefer was at St. Francis and Acker at Gunn.

Schaefer leads the Cardinal in the 50-yard free (22.18, No. 3 in nation) and 100 free (48.36, No. 4 in nation), the latter an event where she and Acker could meet. Both are also active on relays. Acker is a member of the national-leading 200-yard medley relay, the No. 2 400 free relay and No. 3 200 free relay.

Also possibly facing Acker will be Stanford freshman Julia Ama, another Gunn grad. Ama and Schaefer are on Stanford's 200 free relay.
