Stanford football and basketball fans can enjoy both on Saturday night as a championship celebration of the Cardinal's Rose Bowl victory will be sandwiched around the men's Pac-12 hoop game with visiting Washington.

A free 2012 football commemorative fan banner will be given out to the first 3,000 fans prior to the hoop tipoff at 8 p.m.

There also will be a pre-game autograph session with select members of the Stanford football team from 7:30-8 p.m. Only the first 200 fans who claim a ticket at the marketing table (northwest corner of Maples Pavilion) will be eligible. Doors open at 7 p.m. Limit one autographed item per fan.

Also, there will be a fan photo station with the Pac-12 & Rose Bowl Game Championship trophies (pre-game only in Maples Pavilion East concourse).

And, there will be a recognition ceremony during halftime that will feature the football team and head coach David Shaw.

Those bringing a Rose Bowl Game ticket stub will receive a $10 ticket to the basketball game. Just present it at the Maples Pavilion Ticket Office on the day of the game (upper end reserved seats, as available).

Women's gymnastics
Stanford senior captain Nicole Dayton was named Pac-12 Specialist of the Week for her first-place vault that scored a 9.950 at the NorCal Quad Meet.

Dayton matched her career best -- recorded during the 2012 NCAA Super Six -- while anchoring a talented Stanford vault group that claimed the top-three vault scores at the meet.

Dayton's performance on vault helped lead the sixth-ranked Cardinal to season-opening victories over San Jose State, UC Davis and Sacramento State.

Dayton was a staple for the Cardinal on vault in 2012, competing in the event in 12 of 13 meets. She was also a member of last year's vault lineup that recorded the second-highest team score in school history (49.550).
