Stanford sells its allocation of 31,000 football tickets

 | On the heels of an 11-2 Pac-12 championship season and the Cardinal's first Rose Bowl berth in 13 years, the Stanford fan base has responded with an historic appetite for tickets to the 99th Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO.
Monday evening, Stanford sold through its allocation of more than 31,000 tickets to the Jan. 1, 2013 game in Pasadena.
Stanford Athletics has worked with the Tournament of Roses Association in conjunction with the Pac-12 Conference to support additional requests as the demand for the Pac-12 champion Cardinal continues.
The deadline for existing Stanford Athletics ticket holders to submit their deferred bowl application through their online account remains Thursday at noon (PT). All such online orders made before the deadline will be seated in accordance with the account holder's level of engagement with Stanford.
Student ticket sales will open online Wednesday at 9 a.m. (PT).
All Stanford fans should make their ticket purchases for the Rose Bowl Game through Stanford Athletics online at GoStanford.com to ensure that they are seated in Cardinal fan sections for the best fan experience and support of this Stanford team on Jan. 1.
