Posted by Bob , a resident of the Community Center neighborhood, on Nov 29, 2012 at 9:36 am It is beyond insane to play that football game tomorrow,Friday. There are big warnings about heavy rain and wind. Fans should not be on the highways. The field is grass - and was a mess last year because of rain - and Oregon was used to it. This game could have been played on Saturday - to heck with the TV schedule. Player safety is more important as is the safety of any fans driving to see it.

- It didn't rain during the UCLA @ Oregon Pac12 game. Try a Google search and look any/all of the images from the game if you don't believe me. Dry as a bone and most players didn't even wear long-sleeve undershirts.
- Oregon has sport-turf, not grass = no mess rain or shine.
It's going to rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shall we postpone the game until Monday?
It's football - sometimes you get wet, muddy, cold, etc. Don't go and watch on TV, you'll be fine.
