Stanford fans will have to weather some tough parking

Do yourself a favor and take public transit. You're going to need a raincoat anyway. Caltrain is running extra trains for the game.

Paly sent out emails that their campus will be closed to Stanford Football parking due to the number of students still on campus before kickoff.

It is beyond insane to play that football game tomorrow,Friday. There are big warnings about heavy rain and wind. Fans should not be on the highways. The field is grass - and was a mess last year because of rain - and Oregon was used to it. This game could have been played on Saturday - to heck with the TV schedule. Player safety is more important as is the safety of any fans driving to see it.

@ Bob:

- It didn't rain during the UCLA @ Oregon Pac12 game. Try a Google search and look any/all of the images from the game if you don't believe me. Dry as a bone and most players didn't even wear long-sleeve undershirts.

- Oregon has sport-turf, not grass = no mess rain or shine.

It's going to rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shall we postpone the game until Monday?

It's football - sometimes you get wet, muddy, cold, etc. Don't go and watch on TV, you'll be fine.
