As the fall sports season shifts into winter, a handful of Menlo School athletes has joined a growing list of teammates planning on continuing their athletic careers in college. Here's a list of who's going where:

Andrew Ball * (Harvard tennis) -- Ball has led Menlo to Central Coast Section and NorCal titles in all three seasons he's played so far, as well as two national tournament championships. Menlo's No. 1 singles player boosted the Knights to a 28-0 season. A top-ranked Northern California player, Ball won the USTA national sportsmanship award in 2011.

Andrew Buchanan (SMU golf)-- The 2012 CCS champion tied the all-time CCS Championships course record. Buchanan is a two-time NorCal qualifier, and is the 24th-ranked player of the 2013 freshman class. He was named league co-MVP his junior season and is twice named first-team all-league.

Drew Edelman (USC basketball) -- As a junior, Edelman was one of the top players in the San Francisco Bay Area, averaging double figures in points (18.9) and rebounds (16.4) for the second season in a row. She lifted the Knights to a league tournament victory and is a two-time, first-team all-league selection.

Ali Kim * (Brown lacrosse) -- The midfielder was one of the Knights' leading scorers the past two seasons and finished second on the team in caused turnover/take-aways. Kim was named a Northern California All-American and to the all-academic team.

Austin Marcus * (Bucknell baseball) -- As a sophomore, Marcus helped Menlo win a CCS championship. The catcher-pitcher then led the Knights back to the section title game in 2012, throwing a one-hitter in the section quarterfinals. He had a 98.1 fielding percentage with 180 put-outs, and picked up three wins, throwing 27 innings.

Michaela Michael (USC lacrosse) -- Michael, who gave a verbal commitment to the Trojans in her sophomore year, was twice named to the Northern California All-American team. She lifted the Knights to a fifth consecutive league title and is the school's all-time leading scorer with over 400 points in three seasons.

Wiley Osborne * (Dartmouth lacrosse) -- For the past three season, Osborne has been a key attacker for Menlo. He twice earned first-team All-SCVAL De Anza Division honors and is a Northern California All-American. He enters his senior season coming off a 60-goal, 47-assist season.

Richard Pham * (Columbia tennis) -- Playing in one of the top two spots, Pham lifted the Knights to a perfect 28-0 season in which they won the National Invitational state tournament, won the CCS title and NorCal. Pham is a two-time, first-team all-league selection.

Emma Thygesen * (Brown volleyball) -- A starting outside hitter, Thygesen finished last season with a 42.9 hitting percentage. She helped the Knights to a second-place finish in league and a trip to the CCS semifinals last season, and a league co-championship plus CCS quarterfinal appearance this season.
