Paly grad Adams has big day for Fresno St.
|
Palo Alto High grad Davante Adams made some big plays as a Viking while helping his team win the 2010 CIF Division I state championship.
On Saturday, Adams made some big plays for Fresno State as the Bulldogs rallied from an early 21-0 deficit to defeat host New Mexico, 49-32, in a Mountain West contest.
Adams made a juggling catch and run for an 89-yard touchdown midway through the third quarter to put the Bulldogs on top for the first time, 28-24.
Adams finished with nine catches for 198 yards and two scores -- the first one a seven-yarder to get Fresno State to within 24-24. He averaged a whopping 22 yards per catch as the Bulldogs improved to 4-1 in league (6-3 overall)
