Menlo College sophomore Courtney Calicdan was recognized as the California Pacific Conference Player of the Week for the fourth consecutive week in women's volleyball.

This latest honor was a result of Calicdan racking up 30 total kills and 37 total digs in Menlo's two matches last week. The Oaks took out UC Santa Cruz in four sets on Wednesday and swept Pacific Union on Thursday.

Calicdan, an outside hitter from Honolulu, also compiled a .400 hitting percentage against the Pioneers, propelling Menlo to its first regular season Cal Pac championship since 2009.

The Oaks (7-0, 13-6) have one match this week, on Friday at UC Merced.

Men's soccer
For the fifth time this season, senior keeper Alex Palomarez was selected as the Cal Pac Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Palomarez had four saves and allowed two goals in two matches last week, as the Oaks were triumphant in two Cal Pac matches. Menlo defeated Simpson University, 2-1, on Wednesday in Redding, and beat Pacific Union College 5-1 on Sunday in Angwin.

The Oaks (5-0, 9-4-3) have two matches this week, including Saturday's home match against CSU Maritime Academy at 1 p.m. Menlo dropped a 3-0 decision to host Sonoma State on Wednesday.

Women's soccer
Natalie Ingram took home the Cal Pac Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor after scoring three goals last week in leading Menlo to two victories.

Ingram found the back of the net in the Oaks' 2-0 victory over Simpson University on Wednesday, and then ripped two goals, including a winning score in overtime, for a 3-2 win at UC Merced on Saturday. The junior from San Jose leads the conference with 14 goals.

Menlo (2-2, 11-4) is idle this week.
