Courtney Calicdan is making a habit of winning the Cal Pac Conference Player of the Week award. The Menlo College sophomore won her third consecutive women's volleyball honors as the Lady Oaks remained undefeated in conference play.

Calicdan recorded 33 kills and 24 digs in Menlo's wins over Simpson and William Jessup.

The Lady Oaks host UC Santa Cruz in a nonconference match Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Menlo College men's soccer team also received recognition from the Cal Pac Conference as Alex Palomarez was named Defensive Player of the Week and Andrew Cota earned Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Palomarez was named for the fourth time this season, and ninth time in his two-year career. He allowed two goals in two matches last week as the defending Cal Pac champions notched a pair of victories.

Cota took 10 shots on goal, connecting on three of them and added two assists in the two Menlo wins.

The Oaks travel to Simpson on Wednesday for a Cal Pac Conference match.
