Stanford football Senior tight ends Zach Ertz and Levine Toilolo today were named to the John Mackey Award Midseason Watch List by the Nassau County Sports Commission.

The John Mackey Award is given annually to the most outstanding collegiate tight end.

Ertz (25 receptions, 371 yards, 2 TDs) and Toilolo (13 receptions, 278 yards, 2 TDs) currently lead Stanford in receiving and have accounted for half of the Cardinal's passing touchdowns.

The 6-foot-6 Ertz has recorded team-high receiving marks in three of Stanford's past four games, accounting for 296 yards during that stretch. His 71 yards and game-winning touchdown against USC earned him John Mackey Tight End of the Week honors.

The 6-8 Toilolo has led the Cardinal in receiving twice this season, including a career-high 141 yards and one touchdown against Arizona.

Last year, Stanford's Coby Fleener was a semifinalist of the 2011 John Mackey Award. He was selected as the first overall tight end in the 2012 NFL Draft this past April by the Indianapolis Colts. Fleener is one of six tight ends currently in the NFL who are Stanford alumni.
