Fallen tree in Palo Alto delays Caltrain commuters

A tree has fallen on the train tracks near Churchill Avenue in Palo Alto, delaying the commute, Caltrain reported shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday. Both northbound and southbound trains are using a single track while crews remove the tree. Additional information and updates are available at Caltrain's Twitter feed. UPDATE: As of 5:50 p.m., Caltrain reported the tree has been removed and trains are proceeding on both tracks again.

Was the tree growing on Caltrain property or in someone's backyard?
