Music: 'The Power and Passion of Beethoven'
Pianist Jeffrey Siegel will perform a concert with commentary on the music of Beethoven at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 4, at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center at 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. The event is part of Siegel's "Keyboard Conversations" series and includes the stories behind the "Moonlight Sonata" and "Fur Elise." Later events will focus on Chopin and Bach. Tickets are $25-$35. Music: 'Eclectic World Jazz'
A free program of jazz compositions by bass player Lukas Vesely and guitarist Neil Kelly is scheduled for 7 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 4, at the Community School of Music and Arts at 230 San Antonio Circle in Mountain View.
