 | Michael Holloway, a senior at Sacred Heart Prep, has committed to Stanford University's Class of 2017 and will play water polo for the Cardinal.
"I am extremely honored to be admitted to the Class of 2017 at Stanford University," said Holloway. "It has always been my goal to attend Stanford and play water polo for Coach John Vargas. Stanford offers the very best academic and athletic environment in the nation and I am looking forward to being a part of it."
Holloway will join two former Gators on the Stanford Cardinal roster, Paul Rudolph (SHP '08) and Robert Dunlevie (SHP '10).
Holloway was an ALL CCS DII selection last fall and was honorable mention choice in 2010. He was also a first-team selection for the WCAL in 2010 and 2011.
"Michael is an outstanding athlete and great water polo player," said SHP coach Brian Kreutzkamp. "I expect him to have an unforgettable senior season at Sacred Heart Prep. I am extremely proud that he has taken the time to work hard in the pool and in the classroom to make his dream of attending Stanford University a reality."— SHP Athletics Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition?
