Theater: 'The Cherry Orchard'
Opening night is tonight, Sept. 21, at 8 p.m. for the Pear Avenue Theatre's production of Chekhov's last play, "The Cherry Orchard." This is a new translation by Marina Brodskaya. The play runs through Oct. 14 at 1220 Pear Ave., Unit K, in Mountain View. Tickets are $15-$30. Go to thepear.org.
Music: Rick Estrin & The Nightcats
Harmonica player and singer Rick Estrin brings his band The Nightcats to the Peninsula for a blues and rock show at Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City tonight, Sept 21.
