Sorry Chris but I have to do this: Stanford fans apparently have trouble reading calendars. Stanford plays Duke tomorrow, USC is next week.

Football fans have trouble parking nicely as well. On a couple of occasions I've had someone park literally touching the bumper of my Bentley.

And many, many fans cannot view the Stanford-Cal games. The Pac 12 Conference Sports Channel has failed to sign a TV contract with DISH and Direct TV which account for a large percentage of Bay Area viewers. -many disabled and elderly and including entire retirement communities. Dumb.

You can get it on Comcast. Try Chan 433, not 434. They are both Pac 12 Chan's, but one (434) needs authorization.

Since Palo Alto hates cars and traffic so much, why aren't they providing bikes to all the visitors?

We should really ban cars altogether in Palo Alto and make everyone ride a bike or walk. It would make PA such a pleasant place to live and help the environment!

Banning cars would decrease auto burglaries. I feel sorry already for this coming weekend's victims.

So glad I am not into football. Oh by the way the grand national tiddly wink tournament will be causing great traffic snarls this weekend as well. I better keep my Lamborghini in the garage this weekend to avoid any dings. This is all so incredibly interesting, no?

The pac-12 network isn't on direct-tv. I discovered this weekend all the sports bars around here subscibe to direct-tv. Lameness. Guess I'll spend Saturday cruising the Ferarri around Woodside, instead of watching USC stomp the trees.
