Parking at Stanford on Friday will be at a premium

 | There will be special parking for soccer fans attending Friday's Stanford-Boston College women's match, if they know where to look.
Normal parking will not be available because of the Stanford-San Jose State football at Stanford Stadium at 7 p.m. However, there is parking to accommodate soccer fans for the 4 p.m. match between the No. 4 Cardinal and the No. 7 Boston College Eagles at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
Lot 9 (Lasuen Grove on Palm Drive) will be available free for soccer parking until 4 p.m. After that, parking there is $15.
Lot 11 (Maples Pavilion) and Lot 12 (the parking structure across Maples Pavilion on Campus Drive) will be open all day for soccer parking, based on availability.
Stanford (2-1) and Boston College (3-0) will be meeting for the sixth time in five years, including in the past three NCAA tournaments, with Stanford winning each match.
The Cardinal holds a 4-0-1 series lead, but is trying to bounce back from a Sunday loss to West Virginia that ended the Cardinal's 64-match overall winning streak.— Stanford Sports Information Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
