$8,550 Rolex stolen at Stanford Shopping Center
Watch taken from Shreve & Co. jewelry store Aug. 14, police say
|
An expensive Rolex watch was snatched from the Shreve & Co. jewelry store at Stanford Shopping Center Tuesday, Aug. 14, Palo Alto police said.
A man arrived at the store at around 12:15 p.m. and asked to see the Rolex, which was valued at $8,550, police Agent Marianna Villaescusa said. He ran out of the store with the watch.
No suspect has been identified, but the man is described as Caucasian, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He is in his 30s, well groomed, balding and with blue eyes. He wore sunglasses, a light blue, casual short-sleeved button-down shirt and dark blue or gray Bermuda shorts.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Palo Alto Police Department at 650-329-2413.— Sue Dremann Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
