Two suspected drunken drivers crashed into each other in Menlo Park early Saturday morning, Aug. 11, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of Bayfront Expressway and Chrysler Drive at about 2:30 a.m., according to Menlo Park police.
Witnesses reported that the driver of one of two vehicles involved in the collision had fled the area on foot, police said. Officers quickly found the suspect in the 100 block of Constitution Drive. He was identified as Yungee Kin, 40, of Sunnyvale.
Kim was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, police said. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI with injury and hit-and-run with injury.
The driver of the other vehicle -- who was identified as Zaquis Coleman, 22, of East Palo Alto -- was also found to be under the influence of alcohol, police said. Coleman was arrested on suspicion of DUI with injury.
A 24-year-old passenger in Coleman's vehicle was taken to Stanford Hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
The roadway was partially closed for about seven hours while an investigation was conducted.— Bay City News Service Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.

So, I am thinking like a mathematician here. What are the odds that a driver you encounter on the street is drunk? Now what are the odds that TWO drivers who collide with each other are both drunk? ;-)
