Community: Menlo Charity Horse Show
Starting tomorrow, Aug. 7, the Menlo Charity Horse Show hosts jumping events in three arenas at the Menlo Circus Club, 190 Park Lane, Atherton. Some 500 West Coast equestrian are scheduled to take part. The events, which benefit the Vista Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired, are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 7-12. Dance: Cha cha al fresco
Downtown Redwood City's Courthouse Square hosts a free 30-minute cha cha demonstration/lesson by the Imperial Dance Club starting at 6 p.m. tomorrow, Aug. 7. A dance party continues until 8 p.m. The city's weekly free dance series continues through Sept. 25, with different styles each week. Go to redwoodcity.org.
