A 19-year-old Menlo Park resident was found with at least one gunshot wound in the 1300 block of Madera Avenue in Menlo Park early Saturday morning and was later pronounced dead at Stanford Hospital, police said.

He was identified as Jesus Becerra Molina, according to the San Mateo County Coroner's Office.

Police said they responded to a report of gunshots at around 2:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of Madera Avenue in the Belle Haven area of Menlo Park. Officers found Molina in front of a house in that block and administered first-aid and CPR.

Paramedics with the Menlo Park Fire Protection District and the ambulance company AMR administered life-saving measures but Molina was unresponsive, police said. He was taken to Stanford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Menlo Park police detective unit is investigating the shooting and there is no suspect information at this time, according to Commander Dave Bertini.
