Bookmark and Share
A 19-year-old Menlo Park resident was found with at least one gunshot wound in the 1300 block of Madera Avenue in Menlo Park Saturday morning and was later pronounced dead at Stanford Hospital, police said.

The man's identify is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.

Police said they responded to a report of gunshots in the 1300 block of Madera Avenue in the Belle Haven area of Menlo Park. Officers found the man in front of a house in that block and administered first-aid and CPR. Paramedics with the Menlo Park Fire Protection District and the ambulance company AMR administered life-saving measures but the man was unresponsive, police said. He was taken to Stanford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Menlo Park police detective unit is investigating the shooting and there is no suspect information at this time, according to Commander Dave Bertini.

there was some guys driving around in a black suburban truck yelling insults out the window. could have been white or hispanic, but NOT black. sometimes criminals drive nice looking vehicles. its not always ''bums'' or black people that are criminals.

Who shot him, and why... are my two questions..?

Lots of mysterious shadows on the streets at night, have to walk on the street where there's more light..
