A man was shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting in East Palo Alto Monday afternoon, June 11, police said.
Police responded to reports of a gunshot victim outside of the Menlo Park Fire Station at 2290 University Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. The 20-year-old victim, an East Palo Alto resident, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his calf.
He was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, police said. The man had been shot by someone in a passing vehicle and walked to the Menlo Park Fire Station after he was shot, police said.
