Supervisor candidates to speak at forum tonight
Candidates for District 4 seat on San Mateo County Board of Supervisors to answer questions at election forum

Bookmark and Share
The seven candidates for the District 4 seat on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors have been invited to answer questions at an election forum Thursday night, May 3, in Menlo Park.

The two-hour forum, organized by the League of Women Voters of South San Mateo County, starts at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at Menlo Park Civic Center, located at 701 Laurel St. in Menlo Park.

The candidates must reside in the district, but run county-wide. The district, which includes much of Menlo Park, has been represented by Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson for 14 years.

Written questions can be submitted from the audience and a League moderator will pose questions to the candidates.

Cable Channel 26 will air a taped video of the event, and the League says the video will be available on its website.

For more information, call the League office at 650-325-5780, or send an email to info@LWVSSMC.org.
